the VOPC 1-800 number is back and the erl is working again so anyone wanting to check the status after the holidays have at it

and heres hoping the easter bunny was nice to you

The Robot Lady Must have gotten lucky over the weekend. She told me I was locked in for production week of april 4.

Congrats....I'm happy for you! That is remarkably fast! You obviously found a dealer who sold a lot of Mustangs in the past....hence, good allocation.

I'm with you! I called today, not really expecting anything different, and I was right. Ordered 12/16/04 and still C/U!!!

 

I just called the ERL and decided to call her the NRL ("NICE Robot Lady). She said "my unit is scheduled to be built week of April 11th." I was stunned. I only ordered on March 17th! Please don't hate me fellas...

Did having "PRIORITY 10" status and paying $775 under MSRP have anything to do with this?

WEEK OF APRIL 18th ITS ABOUT TIME

 

I tried calling and I get a you have a wait of apporixamtly 10 minutes. Does that mean it's transfering me to a real person or that ERL is backed up?

 

I called again and got though. It still says as of March 24th your order is C/U

Should it say as of March 28th though? Like it wasn't updated for me.

 

It just has updated beyond the 24th yet. sometimes it takes week or 2 to update

 

Maybe the lovely lady is updating to tell you that shes ready to build your car! I hope that's the case b/c I will call back later tonight to she id she's changed her mind from this morning.

I hope to get my car by end of May, but i'm losing weeks here. My dealer puts every mustang order in as priority 10 so it's the luck of the draw I think.

 

I hope your right! Maybe it hasn't updated for me yet. Maybe they are still working on updating the system? Not exactly sure how all that works.

Mine said as of 3/24 this morning as well - so maybe there's hope for both of us! I waited 8 MONTHS in 1997 for my C5 to come in. Ordered day 1 from a dealer (friend of my dads) that sold us the cars for $300 over dealer cost !

Mine came in as a 97' in AUG 4th - my dad's came in as a 98' two weeks later! I hope I don't have to wait half of that time for my stang!

 

It looks like all the V6er's that order the first week of March got pulled this week. I can't wait for lunch so I can go see whether or not I'm in that group!!!

Of course my dealership said I had 3 infront of me... I don't know if their GT's or V6's though so its possible I got pulled if they are all GT's in front of me.

 

I'm still c/u....I keep a countdown in my profile to the right. It say two weeks, but on wed it becomes one. Thats when the dealer said he should see my car at the latest. I'm not to worried. I dont have all the money I want for down payment and my promotion at work is going through this week, so it'll be a little hectic at work for me. Anyways order 1/12 still c/u
