In all seriousness, I think you're right 'bout the raptor 6.2L. It doesn't make any more power than a new 5.0 anyhow. IMO there's only three motor swaps worth doing in an S197, either a new 5.0, GT500, or 03/04 Cobra..
But for the money you'd spend doing that, why not build up the current motor?

IMO; build the block. 5.4L DOHC with the Ford GT Heads ($5k for those alone), Dish Top JE Pistons, Manley Rods (Like The Terminator), Cobra Crank, and either blow it or turbo it. That would be some serious raw power.

I think someone on S197 Forum did a big Ford motor I forget which one I think it was the 6.2 but I can't remember for certain. Not sure what he made power wise but its a big ol hunk of Iron that your putting in an already nose heavy car. If you were going to do a swap IMO a Big Bore Stroker would be it.

322 C.I. and you would be able to hold 1000HP with the block, throw a KB on it and hold 800+HP easily or you dial it down a little and "settle" for 600 HP
N/A you could make 420-450 and not worry about boosting it only downside to that is you ave very aggressive cams in your car and your driveability would suffer just a bit but the plus side is when you pop your hood people will think oh look its just a lil ol 3V and than when you blow them away the go WTF?!
