Got some new bling for my engine.
It's a Whipple HO intercooled 550hp kit. Custom tune will be from Jon Lund. Can't wait to install it this weekend! The thing I'm most afraid of is removing the original spark plugs and breaking one. If I can get past that then everything should be pretty easy.

I'd be very interested to read what you paid for it if you dont mind. I'm definatley getting one in the not too distant future. I really hadnt planned on the polished one since that is obviously more money.
Thanks if you dont mind saying
Andretti

Congrats on the purchase. I'm going to be getting a SC in the next year or so as well, and I was wondering if you wouldn't mind talking about what your goals were for this upgrade and what made you go for the Whipple HO unit? Thanks and good luck with the install this weekend!
Way to go!!!!! Be sure to throw up some pics after the install. I'm sure you'll be fine with the plugs, Just follow the TSB on it thats out there. Peope who are trading in their mint 05-09 Gt's for the 2011 are crazy. If power and reliability is what you want then you hit the nail right on the head.
Thanks everyone!
I'll send you a PM about the price.
Thanks! I really don't have any power goals. I just wanted something to make my beer runs a little quicker and just to have fun with. I don't plan to take her to the tracks either. It was a toss up between the Whipple or the Kenne Bell. In the end, I chose the Whipple because...
1. Positioning of the air intake is in the stock position. I plan to get a ram air hood so this is important. Kenne Bell's intake is down low on the passenger side (won't work with ram air hoods).
2. The whine of the Whipple is louder than the Kenne Bell from all the Youtube vids I've watched.
3. The polished Whipple looks better than the polished Kenne Bell. The ribs on the Whipple reminds me of those old school blowers you see on pro street cars.
4. Whipple's customer service is awesome. Kenne Bell sucks from what I've heard and they're slow to respond to emails or answer phones.
5. The Ford Racing/Whipple tune is very safe and adaptive. Although I didn't go that route but instead I went with Jon Lund to do my custom tunes.
Thanks! Yeah I'd rather have my 4.6 with a blower than the new 5.0.
I'll put up pics when the install is done.
Thank you! To answer your question on why I chose the Whipple, see my reply to Americanboy86.
The tune I'll be running is very safe at 10-12psi and I don't have plans to go forged yet. Maybe later.

Running a 3.375 one that came with the HO kit.
The 8lb numbers were with that pulley and a badly slipping belt. We couldn't get her to put up anything more then 8lbs above 4k rpms.. Chris is saying I'm probably putting down north of 475whp now that I'm seeing the full 10lbs, but I haven't had time to get her back up on the rollers yet. (New belt & adjusted the Whipple pulley tighter)

She's alive!!! OMG! My own car scares me now! lol I wasn't ready for the first "boost". I started from a stop, the car was rolling and I gave it a little gas and, not knowing when the boost would kick in, it scared me for a second when the car suddenly launched so I let off the gas really quick. The car is like a whole different animal. I can hear the whine of the Whipple even with my O/R exhaust. It's music to my ears.
Here's some pics and a couple of videos.

Is this normal? Fuel pressure at idle is 30in/Hg, vacuum at idle is 20psi. A/F? Sorry the view of the gauges is kind of blurry. I was also afraid to mash the pedal since I'm not sure if my A/F is behaving ok. This is all new to me.

I have interceptor scan gauges and my fuel pressure is a delta function , so it fluctuates around 39 psi at idle since I have 39# injectors. Your gauge probably reads true pressure and depending on what size injectors you have I'm not sure what it should read. The boost reads about -10.8 to -11.0 at idle and at WOT 7.5 to 8.0 psi which is correct for my pulley size. I don't know for sure but -20 psi seems high to me , maybe someone else will know for sure ...
