Unhappy Engine issues

I'm hoping someone could help me out.
As you guys know I've been working on this car for 3 months and everything ran fine...until today.
I finally got it up and running, did a coolant flush today then went out to embed the new brakes. No problems.
Then I went to fill it with gas and that's when the problem started.
It makes this awful noise, sometimes it's very loud then is quite for a second and starts again. Sounds like it's coming from the passengers side.
I have yet to do an oil change.
I had to drive it very slowly home. Does the video help?

Any ideas?

Yikes!! Someone with way more mechanical experience will assist you but it makes my LS1 'sewing machine' tick and the Hemi tick sound quiet.
I hope it's not major, especially after all the wonderful work you have done.

Thanks man. I'm kinda depressed atm. Why does this crap have to happen. I was so excited to get it out on the road then boom another issue. Excitement gone instantly.
When driving it sounds like a model T!
If it's more then I can handle after I look into it I'm going to take it to the dealership. But I'm hoping I don't have to.

From what you describe, it seems more like a fuel/octane issue.. Have you noticed any knocks/pinging? if you didn't notice anything until after you filled up with new fuel, it could be you either got a bad batch of gas or the previous owner had an aftermarket tune which requires higher grade 91+octane fuel.. Perhaps adding some fuel additive treatment or higher grade octane fuel might resolve the issue

I first thought about that since it happened to my mother's car. But other ppl where filling up at the same time and they didn't have any issues. I specifically asked about the fuel when I was looking at the car and the seller said he didn't change anything so it's 87 grade. That's what I've been putting in. I did so when I bought it as well and had no problem. No Glenn I didn't put diesel. There is no way since the pumps I use are red and diesel is yellow.

I asked over on fb as well and someone said
Sounds like a cam follower. These engines are known for the bearing in them going out and eating up the cam lobe. Passenger side seems to be the first to go out. Need to change cam followers, cam, and might as well change valve lashers while you’re in there.

I'm not sure about that cam issue from FB. You would think it would be more gradual than instantly being damaged. Again, I don't have that knowledge but let's hope that diagnosis is wrong. I forgot how many miles were on your car.
Try to enjoy your 4th weekend if possible.

Well look like it is a cam issue. Took the passengers side off and found damage in there.
So what does this mean?
Oh and I live in Canada so our day is July 1st.
Enjoy your 4th though.

So sorry.... We all were hoping for the best. Whatever caused that damage will also have to be addressed. Time for the experts to assist, or at least your trusted mechanic.

Just wanted to update everyone.
My brother came over tonight to look at my car to figure out what's wrong.
He found out that the timing chain is loose. He said he'd never seen something like this. When turning the engine manually the chain would loosen at one point and you can hear the oil gush out.
So I'm going to take it to the dealership and get a quote. Hopefully this is the only issue with it.

We appreciate the update. The only question I have is involving the dealership. Isn't there anyone else, like a good repair shop, available?? I'm thinking $$$ of course and sometimes the repair shop mechanics are even better, and not looking to find 'other' things wrong. Dealerships in the US (many, not all) will find things 'wrong' with perfect running cars. Maybe Canada is different so please ignore my negative attitude.

No no I feel the same way. I don't want to go there because of the $$ but the work is guaranteed.. Hoping.
My brother is a master mechanic and is willing to help me fix it but he is super busy and I don't want this to turn out to be a summer project. I wanna drive the bloody thing. Lol.

I also hope the timing chain is the only issue as well.. The last thing you need is for this car to turn into a money pit
