Engine Accent Upgrade
Please take a look at my engine accent upgrade. I am trying to mimic the color scheme of my interior and move it into the engine bay and trunk. What do you guys think? More red? I know I need more brushed aluminum.

There can't be less red. My car has the red interior with the seats and door panels being bright red. The interior of my car is at least 45% red, 45% black, and about 10% brushed aluminum and chrome trimmed. I think the red is about right but I need more brushed aluminum.

You are right. A set of aluminum caps would be nice. I have a CANTON aluminum radiator expansion tank on the way for some brushed aluminum and I will go with an aluminum fuse box cover. I will finish of the front of the engine with a new radiator cover and radiator cover extensions from Midwest Auto. They will be in silver. ME NEED MORE ALUMINUM!

Red can be a good thing, if not 'in your face'. I too have red accents in my engine bay, but would rather keep my hoses black so they fade into the background and aren't so noticeable.

Get the plastic covers off there and paint or powdercoat the real cam covers red. Also paint the center ribs of the supercharger red. Turn the hoses back black but have the ends of them red or vice versa.

If you hate the engine compartment you will really hate this!
Wow! I can see that there are a lot less fans of the crimson interior accent package than I thought...! I take it most don't like the red color scheme. If you hate what I did so far in the engine compartment you will really hate the trunk. I guess I just have to hope that once I put some aluminum under the hood that it will bring things to life like the evanescense song describes. "Wake Me UP!"
