Energizer Bunny wouldn't stand a chance.
My horse killed off it's thrid battery in six years. Went to start it for the first time in a week and it had no life at all. Had the battery checked and it had a dead cell. It's was still under warranty, so I got a pro-rate. As long a the battery is under warranty, it really doesn't matter to me. As a side note, I always notice increased performance when the battery is replaced. Go figure.
That's exactly what happened to me most recently. I think I've been through 4 alternators, and the last one took the battery with it. Although it was still the original battery, and it had a good 7 year run, it was time for a new one anyway.
