So my 05 gt has 14000 miles on it and i always use 89 octane

Today my emissions warning light came on I double checked my fuel cap cause i saw that in a previus thread but that checked out fine. And thankfully its not blinking.

What could be the problem? I hope my extended warranty will cover it

 

I don't have my owners manual handy right now but usually the emissions systems are covered by a longer warranty than the regular 3yr/36000 assuming you don't have mods that affect the emissions systems.

 

Warranty should be fine as long as long as Cats are still on.

 

Yup thank god this happened before I invested my saved up money on my car
