Oh, I've noticed the looks of admiration from everyone else, just the looks of hatred from other stangers is what I'm referring to. I don't know... maybe they'll get over it someday. It sure would be nice to actually meet some of them in the area. Ahh well only another month and a half and I'm moving to the rainy NW. Until then, let the other stangers be jealous, although they have no need to be. Guess they just need to grow up in my neck of the woods.

I don't think the indifference/hatred from other stangers is regional. I noticed right after I brought my car home that I seemed to be getting snubbed, and not just from the older stangs either. The first one I saw in our town was a Redfire V6 and the other day we both approached a four way stop at the same time. I tried to
and do you know she looked at me and rolled her eyes at me?? I gave her the benefit of the doubt thinking she must have thought I was a V6 hater. I'm not, I still have my 01 V6, but I'm not fond her or her car anymore.

Let's face it, the old horsepower race of the 60's is on again with a new format. There are going to be some pretty sophisticated machines out there within the next few years. I plan to smile and "thumbs-up" a lot and keep on keepin-on in my Mustang and let the rest of the gang rip it up.
Keep cruisin, Girl. In the long run you'll be way ahead of the pack. 'Course, that doesn't mean you can't play once in a while (even us "Old Farts" do once in a while).
