This can be moved to the interior category, but I thought I'd announce it here first. I know many were disappointed with the e-brake handle, and I found this website that makes leather covers for them.

Anyways, here's the link:

http://www.leathercarstuff.com/proddetail....d=E11%2DA&cat=1

Hope this helps!

I like the idea and good find steve, but I think that might very well be the ugliest cover I have ever seen. It makes the standard e-brake look hot.

ahem, my opinion

I'm sure we will see 100 aftermarket alternatives to the handle.

To me, it's the arm that looks cheap, not the grip. I can't help wonder if a lot of the "cheap plastic interior" comments are triggered by that somewhat tacky arm.

Thanks for posting this. My gripe is how it will stick me in the ribs if I need to reach over and get into the glove box. I'll be looking at the stuff from Steeda, et. al. after SEMA.

They need a leather covered arm, like the 2004's have. The emergency brake handle and arm reminds me of my parents 74 pinto! And you are right thats the main thing that makes it look like a cheap interior.

There's a point with it. If you're, for some weird reason, rendered unconscious or such, a passenger can use the e-brake. I can't think of any car today (at this continent) with the e-brake to the left.

Hahaha, color me embarrassed! I totally looked at the interior pics in the wrong way. OK then I agree - it's on the wrong side.

DO NOT buy those...i have that and the leather AOD cover and they stink. very poor quality and they slip and slide all over the place after a couple months of use.
