Dyno Tuning In Denver

I searched the threads but could only find one from '06 about this particular topic.......
I bought an 05 a few months back that already has a FFRP x-pipe and exhaust installed. I recently procured a DiabloSport tuner (7140) along with a MAC CAI from a private party. I'm currently running the DS 91 octane tune, but would like something more specific to my car. Anyone in the Denver area know of a reputable DiabloSport tuner that can dynotune my car??

Call Diablo and ask them about a certified Diablo tuner in your area, or closest to you.

Hey, I live pretty close to you it looks like (I'm in Highlands Ranch) and I haven't been able to find a good tuner yet either. It seems like its all import/awd tuners around here. I just decided to go with a tillman speed email tune and not bother with a dyno until I get a supercharger at which point I'll drive out to brenspeed if I have to lol.

I might have to go the download route also, but haven't heard back from DS yet, so I'll see what they say. When ordering custom tunes off the net, do you just list your mods and they form the best tune around that? How do you like it? Notice a big change in the car?

From what people have said, the change is like night and day. Talk to the company you're going to get your e-mail tunes through(if you go that route) and have a conversation about the high altitude.

So other than e-mail tune, it looks like your only other option is to bring in a tuner, which is hella expensive. If you do choose that route, I know someone who is SCT certified and made his name tuning Mustangs.

nice about the high altitude........I forget sometimes that everyone doesn't live at 5k and up. Does your guy only do SCT stuff? I did get some answers from DiabloSport (thanks so much to tuningss for the help) and i getting that they can custom tune for my mods, but variety means options, so I wouldn't mind checking some others out. One other thing.......does anyone know if tunes and tuners are compatible with iMacs?

There is nothing that needs to be changed for altitude..

That's what I thought because it's ecu fuel injected, but the subject still seems to pop up...so when a tune is written, altitude is not a factor when imputing fuel/air mix, etc? Or does the tune only contain the ratio and the ecu measures the manifold pressure accordingly?

Honestly, unless you've got something crazy going on under the hood, an e-mail tune is going to be the best solution for you. Not only that, its a decent price and there's absolutely no need for more than that because the cost compared to the gain just can't be justified.

The system will make the slight changes needed. Ford sells these cars all over the world, they don't do anything special for their tuning. It'd be hard to sell a car that only runs at some altitudes.

Anyone belong to any local Mustang clubs? Haven't really investigated that end of ownership yet...
