Dumb question about electric windows...

It has been in the high 90s here in Kansas for a few weeks. My Stang has a black leather trimmed interior, so it tends to get very warm - not good for the material on the seats! Normally, I'd lower the windows maybe 1/2 inch to vent the heat, but on this car the windows always want to close all the way. Is there a way to just lower them a little - enough to vent the heat? Is there a way to circumvent the automatic window raise option?

Just manually set it where you want it. Takes a little practice, but can be done.

Press the button lightly. There are actually two levels on the button. The first (press/pull button halfway) is the standard goes till you let go. The second level (push/pull the button all the way) puts it into auto mode

You can control the window functions, I know I leave mine about 1/4 to 1/2 inch everyday when I park. If someone wanted to get in the anti theft would run them off.
