4/15/2001 UNLAWFUL SPEED 092/55 (Convicted: 8/24/2001) (I was going through the ocala national forest, i got passed by a corvette and a porsche Im driving a 93 buick lesabre v6 starts shaking when u get close to 80. and like 2 seconds after getting passed I get pulled over by a motorcycle cop who popped out of the forest. he said i was going 92mph I said I dont know if this car can even go that fast he says thats what he clocked me at, so I mention the porsche and corvette, he replys that he didnt see a porsche or a corvette and that he clocked me going 92mph. His tone told me to shut up and sign the ticket or he was probably going to arrest me since i was supposedly going more then 20 over the posted limit.)
5/15/2000 FAIL TO OBEY TRAF INSTR SIGN/DEVICE (Convicted: 7/30/2001) (rolled through a stop sign with a cop a block away sitting behind some bushes)
8/3/2001 FAIL TO OBEY TRAF INSTR SIGN/DEVICE (Convicted: 10/16/2001) (I was speeding, going 44 in a 35 the town is a speed trap goes from 55 to 45 to 35 in a short distance. but the cop said " I'll be nice and make it a failure to obey signal instead" )
3/26/2002 UNLAWFUL SPEED 070/55 (Convicted: 6/12/2002) (rush hour traffic, I was speeding)
9/6/2002 DRIV WHILE LIC-CANC/REV/SUS/DISQ (Convicted: 9/25/2002) (Thought my license would be reinstated automatically, it wasnt)
9/6/2002 FAIL TO YIELD-ENTERING THRU HIGHWAY (Convicted: 12/12/2002) (BS Ticket he was looking for drunk drivers and just needed a excuse to pull me over)
6/11/2003 UNLAWFUL SPEED 057/45 (Convicted: 7/15/2003) (Undercover cop looking for kids breaking into rural community mailboxes, myself,friends and my car matched the description so he pulled us over, I actually made him chase me a few miles because Id been pulled over before by idiots just pretending to be cops with strobes and it wasnt a typical police car it was a pontiac grand am. I didnt think it was a cop so I kept going to say the least he was PISSED off when I pulled over when I finally reached a more public area with people around)
6/3/2004 OP MV IMPROPER/NO TAG/REG CERT (Convicted: 6/23/2004) (Just bought the car was from out of state they wanted the title notorized hadnt gotten a chance to get everything done still needed the car so I stuck my old license on it and kept driving it)
6/3/2004 PASSING-POSTED SIGN/HILL/CURVE (Convicted: 9/15/2004) (Another BS late night ticket the speed limit was 45 I came up on a car doing about 30 it was a passing zone a short one and I was in the no passing zone right after I completed the pass)
12/15/2004 OP MV UNSAFE COND/ IMPROPER EQUIP (my brake lights were out due to a messed up relay, they worked fine with the lights off but as soon as you turned the low beams on they light up bright and not change brightness when pressing the brake peddle, what really pissed me off those was the cop was a *****, I said hey Im leaving for Iraq in 6 days! Im getting rid of the car I dont plan on fixing it and from now on I just wont drive it at night till i leave, his reply "Not my concern, get it fixed or pay the fine" So I paid the fine and gave the car away. )

Yeah neither did I but, to get a accurate quote I need to know what to tell the insurance rep. I cant get a accurate quote if I dont remember whats on my record and it can make a BIG difference in price.

well since most are 3 years and some are 4 and 5 years they will all take me, its just at what price. I currently have no points left on my license but some dont care about the points as much as what you were pulled over for. I just off the phone with Geico and they seem to be the best at just about 900 for 6 months for full coverage 500 deductible, I think I might see about a 250 deductible if it doesnt jack it up big time.
Come on man... Now I can understand 1 or MAYBE 2 bad run-ins with Johnny law, but this is an impressive or depressive rap sheet here. It looks like you're averaging more than 2 per year. Not to mention 2 suspensions. At some point ya gotta take some blame yourself. any wrecks? If not, that might be the only thing that saves you.

Thats not too bad...I pay about that with state farm and discounts out the wazoo. All my driveing problems too were from years ago...well the ones that made it to my record muahahaha. Gotta love new orleans..all they want is the $.

Unbelievable. And what is truly amazing is that you somehow think it is someone else's fault (the cops). I really wish they would take people like you off the roads to make things a little safer for the rest of us. It's only a matter of time before you do something REALLY bad like run over a kid or drink & drive. Of course those would be someone else's fault too (that stupid kid ran right out into the road in front of me!) We've all had tickets I'm sure, but yes you win this contest, you've got the worst record of all!

That's ridiculous. Do you pay for your own insurance? With a record like that I'm guessing not. And how many times are you going to blame it on the cops? Don't drive like an idiot and this would be a non issue.

Um yes I DO pay for my own insurance, I currently have ZERO points on my license and plan to keep it that way. I was a crazy teenager had TO MUCH fun, but never came close to hitting anyone or anything. I have never had a accident (knock on wood) Im a very defensive but also aggresive driver. The tickets were my fault I was just explaining the circumstances. I grew up driving in a area with alot of small back wood towns whos money makers are giving out tickets. And where as most bigger departments could care less about some of the small things these places will pull you over for anything they can. I get left alone where I live now because Im a Firefighter and I work in the ER so I know all the locals and they know me and my car. If I ever got pulled over now Id just call the police captain whos also a reserve FF or the sherif supervisor who hangs out with us at the fire station and eats dinner with us all the time. I have them both in my cell. **** its good to know people.

I would have been too ashamed of myself to post a driving record like that. You shouldn't get upset because people flamed you. And just because you know people who can get you out tickets does not make it right. And even to bring the fact up that you know people who will get you out of trouble, and to speak of it is a reflection of you own flawed Character!

I just laugh because people act so righteous. Why do people own radar detectors? So they dont get caught speeding. Why do people buy a car with a v8 it certainly not for the gas mileage. Just cause you havent been caught doesnt make you a better person. And I have yet to even have to call in any favors to get myself out of a jam. Im much more careful with my new mustang then I was with the pieces of junk I drove as a teenager.

Adam, we're glad you got your points down to zero. We're also glad you are more careful now. After all, personality is reflected in what we drive - character is reflected in how we drive it.
I think folks are just a little concerned over how you view your past history. I had my fair share too, in my teens and early 20's - though perhaps not to your extreme. I felt much the same way about it then. But 20 years later, I don't feel that way about it anymore. I realize how just plain fortunate I was - not to mention those around me and those who rode with me.
I am not suggesting you gain 20 years of perspective overnight. Only time does that. But trust me on this, fellow Mustanger - it is not something to be proud of.
That said, Your pony looks gorgeous, and I hope you enjoy her for a long, long time!
