I think I'll try to match the mix I came up with on the "Sound Studio" from the Ford Mustang web site. It's a little ditty entitled "Inition-Idle-Rev-Burn-Shift-Turn-Burn-Pass." Can't really see a decent way to work in "alert" as it just doesn't sound good to me.

Everyone here has picked some pretty good music but my first two songs will be whenever that maybe:

Welcome to the Machine - Pink Floyd (while making all the adjustments (mirrors, seat, , etc. etch..) in the dealer's lot)

Run Like heck - Pink Floyd (while pulling off the lot)

Out of all the music I have run thru my Shaker 1k, Korn has thumped the subs the most

I listen to a LOT of different styles, but a fair share of my collection is 80-90s music
Have you ever seen Korn live?
They are the tighest live band ever!! That is what turned me on to them last year I never really liked them until I seen them live. Ever since then its been all Korn all the time!!!

also listening to:
HateBreed
Rollins Band
BLood for Blood

Too bad they just lost their guitarist. I wonder who'll replace him?

KISS always had the greatest live show. Admittedly, their music wasn't the greatest, but what

I saw KISS once and I wasn't impressed. My $.02, Gene Simmons needs to give it up. He is so self absorbed, that I cringe @ the mention of his name.

On a funny note, 99X, a station here in Atlanta, was interviewing Slash of G'n'R and Velvet Revolver fame at the Grammy's. During the interview, Gene Simmons walks up to them and interrupts by telling Slash that EVERY rock band has stolen something from KISS at one point in time and was insistent to know what Slash stole from KISS. Slash replies by telling Gene, "...yeah I guess I kinda could relate to Ace Frehley because we both played Gibson guitars." Gene wasn't too happy w/ that. I laughed my **** off.

BTW, any 50+ year old man who makes a personal play for Lindsay Lohan has got some issues.

True enough! They should bow out gracefully, but they should have done that after the 1997 reunion tour. Back in 1976, it was the show to go to. That tells you how old I am!!!

You're only as old as you feel.

BTW, I was born in 1977.

"Never Been Any Reason" by Head East. I love that song. It brings back memories of being little and riding w/ my dad. He used to play that and "The Tide is High" and "Atomic" by Blondie. He's got some great taste in music.

I would listen to any Power Metal band... I love the constant unstoppable thumping of the double bass drum, the heavy sound of the bass, the lightning fast guitars, the hint of keyboards played in a Bach style, and the clean vocals! :headbang:
here's a small taste
This is music that will make you wanna go 100mph+

"Power Metal is like a Quesadilla... Cheesy but satisfying" lol :P

ehhhh... the first three bands dont float my boat (The clean Vocals are an essential factor of being tagged Power Metal ), but Motorhead is a very cool band

You have all listed a lot of songs I have compiled for the car, but I also have to add some Ray Charles and John Lee Hooker's Boom boom boom.
