Out of all the music I have run thru my Shaker 1k, Korn has thumped the subs the most

I listen to a LOT of different styles, but a fair share of my collection is 80-90s music

I'm impressed with all general taste in music on here. I expected a lot wierd stuff. Almost everyone has similar taste to mine. Except the guy who sleeps and pukes with Clapton. He is entitiled to his own opinion, but, Clapton deserves respect just for his guitar skills. Cocaine, His version of Lay Down Sally, Wonderful Tonight, and numerous others.

I really like the Bob Seger choice. He is even close to a Detroit product himself. Turn the page is one of my all time favorites. As far as driving songs Roll Me Away. He is singing about a Harley, but, it still is about being on the road.

The guy that likes Jackson Browne (too lazy to go back and find who it was) should also try Jackson Browne - The Pretender. Great Album.

Magic Carpet Ride from Steppenwolf
The first song I played was actually Crystal Method's version of 'Magic Carpet Ride'!! Sounds GREAT!

Then came an assortment from Metallica, Rob/White Zombie, Pantera, and can't forget Powerman 5000's 'When World's Collide'!!

Song with the most thump... 'Just like a Pill' by Pink! Don't know what it is about that song

Others have eluded to this, but, my first song will be "V8 rumble" by Bassani followed by "supercharger whine" by Whipple. I probably won't even have the stereo on for the first couple of months. That engine will be all the sound I need.

What a fun thread! I have also spent some time thinking about this topic.

Jesus Built My Hotrod - Ministry
"Nobody with a good car needs to worry about nothing.... You understand. Nobody with a good car needs to be justified.... Cuz where you are ain't no good unless you can get away from it."

White Zombie, more Ministry, The Matrix Soundtrack, The Doors....

Oh god, I can't wait. The next 3+ months are going to be the longest of my life!

At first, only exhaust...
Now that a few rattles have poped up...

Eminem, Kid Rock, Elvis, TuPac, The Temtations, Stevie Ray, but most importantly, anything with meaning and soul.

Black Sunshine by Rob Zombie.

"Gripping the wheel his knuckles went white with desire. The wheels of his mustang exploding on the highway like a slug from a .45
True death: 400 horsepower of maximum performance piercing the night. This is black sunshine..."

You know what? I can't even remember the first song, I was just way too excited.
I'm naming her Black Sunshine myself

I played my Work Mix v2 playlist on my iPod, because it was set there already I was driving and just hit play:

The Smiths - This Charming Man
Big Audio Dynamite - The Bottom Line
Echo & The Bunnymen - Lips Like Sugar
The Violent Femmes - American Music
The Cure - Why Can't I Be You?
The The - Slow Emotion Replay
Platypus - What About The Merch?
Beck - Hotwax
Cake - The Distance
Barenaked Ladies - Alcohol
Iggy Pop - Lust For Life
Nine Inch Nails - Kinda I Want To
Garbage - Temptation Waits
BT - Blue Skies
No Doubt - Hella Good
The Doors - Twentieth Century Fox
Oasis - Rock 'n' Roll Star
The Psychadelic Furs - Pretty In Pink
They Might Be Giants - Birdhouse In You Soul
The Replacements - I'll Be You

A bit eclectic. I later discovered that Moby makes the Shaker 1000 happy.
