I know I've seen this on here before but i can't find the topic..
When the driver's side door is opened, the window jogs down a slight bit, but when the door is closed it does not jog back up leaving it open a crack and not seating correctly.
Also the express up feature does not work. The express down feature works o.k. Everything is fine with the passenger side. Is this a known problem or am I gonna have a problem at the dealer?

The window is suspost to go down when the door is opened and then back up when it is closet if it didn't the window would break. It was designed from the Thuderbird to have a beater weather seal that way. Why your express window will not go up is a mystery to me.

Well he said it didnt go back up when door closed, and the express doesnt work going up. I am sure that, both problems are related to each other. It should go back up when door closes. Shouldnt be a big deal. I am sure it will be an easy find. Probably a relay or something. good luck.

Reset your windows. Roll them all the way down. Roll them back up. Then hold the window button in the up position for 2 seconds. That should solve the problem. I find my passenger side window screws up about every 2nd week. Very annoying.

Sweet, I'm glad I found this thread. I just started having the exact same problem. Once again this forum saves a trip to the dealer. Thanks folks

I really should read my owners manual a little more. I think I could eliminate about 1/2 my questions in there. If this issue pops up for me I already know where to look, hehe

Was checking out '05 mustang convertibles yesterday and noticed on two of them the drivers side door had been closed with the window in the full up position thereby causing the window glass to ride the A pillar trim and at least a 1/4 inch gap between the glass and seal at the B pillar. Was wondering what the heck til I spotted this topic. Guess thats one bug they need to work out.
