Dougxox's car is repaired
Got the call from the body shop, my car is fixed . I will pick it up later tonight . Will post photos in the AM. Stripes added to the front bumber, windows tinted, and new hood added.
I had the Cervinis ram air hood put on , body guy says it looks great but suggests putting the stock air box back on for the ram air to work. I have a K&N CAI on there now. My question is, what would be better; the stock airbox with a true ram air, or the K&N CAI and some air blowing onto it . Or something in between?
Thought about using the inlet tube from the K&N and attaching it to the stock airbox along with a high flo filter. Will have to look at it to get a better take on how things can work.
Ok, here are the photos from this morning:

LOL...Not quite, picking it up tonight, but heading out about 3 Saturday for a car show in Cape Girardeau ( Southern Missouri) with my 70 Torino and will be back Sunday afternoon. Will post photos from there also. 30 classes with 90 trophys. should be quite fun, weather is going to be great.
Right now, jonezing around the house waiting for GF to get off work to go get it.

thanks, it feels like its new, got it home tonight, will reserve coments untill I see it in the day time.
" how does ram air work when stock box is covered??"
you have to cut a hole in the top or side, not sure yet, will look closer in the morning... and more photos. The parts are in the trunk at the moment, told them to hold off on that part, I would take care of that my self.

they did a pretty good job, I think things will look better after a good claybar and Zanio job. Have a whole box of toys to go onto it and into it so I have some work to do for a few days.
Right now have to get the Torino ready for a show.

Congrats on getting you car done. Meanwhile..... I admire anyone who will keep/maintain/restore a four door Ford. It's a 1970, right? We had one of those when I was a teenager. There has to be a story behind the vehicle. I have a soft spot at car shows for out-of-the-ordinary vehicles.
