Double Wammy Car Review
Double Wammy Car Review
Okay, got two cars, got to review them, for the heck of it.
First, the one I aint driven, but have ridden enough to finally get good Impressions
The Tungsten GT
Highs: V8 Power, Shotgun Comfort, Shaker 500, V8 Sound, Surprisingly big trunk
Lows: 3:31 Ratio is a little sleepy. The Brakes are just OKAY.
I LOVE This car. Ford did amazing with the S197. It's as steady as a rock, and pretty spacious up front. Easy to relax in with the seat reclined. Hell, the Interior looks great, although that Automatic shift bugs me out, due to it's small size on such a not so small car.
When the gas is hit, you can hear it, and feel it. Although, not as good as you'd expect. Im not saying its bad in any way, hell, it's awesome. It's just that the 3:31:1 Ratio seems a bit weak for the engine. 3:73's are definately in the future.
The brakes are good, for the most part. But, they feel just a little "meh" for the job of stopping a car that runs to sixty in 5.5-5.8 seconds. However, this doesent detract from the overall goodness of the car.
Overall, The Mustang GT is an awesome car, under the hood, inside, and, of course, it's drop dead sexy exterior wise

2004 Ford Focus ZX3
Highs: It's a Manual, The 2.3 is preppy, The little menu thing for the radio is fun, the seats are cool, The sound system is good for a stock Ford, I can fit in the hatch, Mileage. Handling
Lows: Slight lag when you hit the gas(might be due to my inexperience of running a clutch..), Drum Brakes in the rear, smaller back seat than the Mustang GT, I can't see the end of my ****ed hood.
This little Hatch is an awesome baby. The stick itself is easy to engage, and is joyful to drive. Full of spirit. The 2.3 140hp engine is loud, and spirited as well. The car is also very easy to steer, and handles pretty well, but, then again, it's not handling too much weight to prevent otherwise. In fact, the only things wrong with it were listed above.
The overall thing? A great car. Short, and Sweet, aint it? Just like the Focus

So, that's pretty much it. Welcoming any comments.

meh? Try stoping the Torino 4 wheel drums. this has a 302, 2 barrell. but they came out with 429 both Boss and Cobra jets. No disc barkes back then.
otherwise nice review
3.31 are on the automatic, 3.55 on manuals.

I think so as well. I would have been really sad had I waited until 2008 to get a GT because of this and no more Tungsten. I ordered an '07 Tungsten Deluxe GT with the optional 3:55s because I wanted the little ponies on the cloth seats!
The premium is also heavier with it's shaker stereo (adds no performance and sometimes doesn't even work).
Really though, I've had many leather seated cars and I just don't like them.

Between the 3.55 being an option on the '07 and not available on the '08 Deluxe, I am so glad I decided to order the '06.
