Is it just my car or are they all the same. Try and unlock your drivers door with the key only, mine won't open and the key can't be turned to the left at all. If the door is already unlocked then the key can be turned to the left, but once it's locked the key is useless. My car does not have the global windows down feature or active antitheft. So what gives here??? I can only get in with the key fob, but the keys work on the trunk ok. I don't get it.

Both keys are the same, very notchie and neither work at unlocking it. I don't want the dealer tearing into the door to have a look see. I was thinking maybe Ford did this for a reason that I just couldn't figure out.....

Each of my keys seem to work OK in my locks. They turn really smooth to the left and just a bit notchy to the right (and its wild watching the alarm activate each time I turned the key to the right! ). After reading your post I went out to the garage and double-checked.
Ford may need to have a look at it dude.
