They make those that hang from the ceiling by ropes. I think they are air filled like the boat buoys. I'm pretty sure I saw them at griotsgarage.com.

I don't agree. Accidents happen. Even I have had a door get away from me and hit another (and I am super careful). If the bumper saves one ding it was worth it. It would make my wife more comfortable. She accidentally spilled a pepsi in my last Mustang. She started crying. Not because she was "afraid" of what I would think, but, because she knew how much the car meant to me and it made her feel bad. Pepsi cleans up, dents are hard to fix.
