Don't buy the belt tension release tool!

Exclamation Don't buy the belt tension release tool!

If you need to work on any of the accessory drive pieces, ie alternator, power steering pump, coolant pump, air conditioner compressor, ... you don't need the belt tension release tool from Ford. An every day 1/2" socket wrench fits right in and works well.

LMAO! I think there's a mod to fix that...but it'll cost ya some big bucks!

But on a serious note...my father was a mechanic, so he had the correct tool on hand anyway when I needed it.

Exactly! But you gotta watch out...you start out with the diamond mod, then you quickly end up throwin' away *all* your money into that bottomless pit. It's best to have an end goal in mind, before you start your modding.
