Saw the car in Springfield, Illinois today. This is nothing exciting or anything, just a pic of the map lights that I haven't seen posted anywhere else. Sorry if you've all seen one before. Too bad there isn't an integral sunglasses holder or cubbyhole for a radar detector or something. I loved the car, but I did notice a couple of things. The passenger side airbag cover (two flaps hinged at the top and bottom) above the glove box seemed ill-fitted. It actually stuck out a bit and would move if you pushed on it. Kinda cheapened the whole aluminum dash effect. Hopefully it's a pre-production thing. The rest of the interior looked nice and tight. Also, that Shaker 1000 woofer box in the trunk is HUGE! It was much bigger than I expected, and I've seen plenty of pictures of it. How cool is that? If I wanted trunk space, I'd get a minivan. I can't wait to hear that thing!

Sorry 'bout that. My wireless internet is experiencing interference from another wireless company down the road. (Or so they say.) Here's the pic again:

I did like the sunglass net on the roof on the current car. Worked much better then the normal bins for little stuff like turnpike tickets and glasses, no rattles. Oh well.

Cool

Notice the "Running Horse" logo above the rearview mirror. Nice touch!

Net??? Is this a feature they added after 2000? Ridden in many 99+ Mustangs and never noticed a net for sunglasses.

Hey is that the ninth speaker? It's to big to be a rivet.

Nevermind. Unless I am mistaken, I think it might be the Anti-Theft motion sensor.

Heres another look at the Map lights. Took this one at the Houston Show back in April.

That seems awfully big for two small dome lights. Please say there's a bin in that, too.

Didn't look that close at it, but maybe the front is a door for CD's or sunglasses.

Here is a better quality pic of the one from Houston.
These don't look the same.
Which one is in the Production car?

Me hopes...that seems really big and tacky for two dome lights that could easily be incorporated into the roof or into the review mirror like on GM cars.

Looks like its Solid to me... where the ripple things are, in the first pic.

Im not sure what the camera-looking thing is. Maybe it is a anti-theft thing.
