Went out this evening to do some Christmas shopping, but found myself driving to the dealer. When I got there, sigh, no car. But then I felt compelled to drive around to the back of the building. There she was! All dusty and dirty, but Redfire from stem to stern.
2005 Mustang GT Premium
Redfire Metallic
5-speed manual
Parchment interior
IUP
Side air bags
Active anti-theft
I'm in banana heaven!

Thanks all, for being here to keep me sane while waiting.

Paul - Great news!!! I will be scanning the highways around Mass looking for you!!
Last night I finally got to drive a new GT - like yours - Redfire with manual tranny but the red leather seats and Shaker 1000. I couldn't believe how much fun it was! This one had been sold last week after sitting on the lot for 1 day but was returned because the guy's wife insisted they get an automatic and not have red seats. Poor guy!
Anyone in New England or willing to get to York Maine - it's sitting there waiting for a new home! Price is @ MSRP $28.8K

Hoopedy-do-dah. Bing bang boom. Yee-ha. Zounds!
I drove her home this afternoon, after the rain cleared away just as I arrived at the dealer. What a thing of beauty! It is so comfortable, feels solid, rides just a little harsh. Great engine/exhaust sound. Plenty of oomph from the Shaker 500.
It's dark now, so pictures tomorrow.
For all who are waiting: Hang in there!

Paul - you've got a real beauty there! I'll be watching for you!
Is your interior cloth or leather? The color combo is outstanding!
Looks like Mustangs are finally making their way to our area now. I checked out 7 - count em 7! on the lot of Portsmouth Ford last night. 5 GTs and 2 V6s. All GTs were manual tranny, leather and IUP, all V6s were auto and no IUP. Except for one ICAP in a Satin Silver GT, all the rest had charcoal interiors. What a scene to see them lined up side by side in several colors (black, white, yellow, lime and silver, no reds or blues)
