The premier trim is simulated leather - even in the GT500's. My 07 GT does not have the premier trim, and the door panels are perforated looking vinyl and the dash/console top are harder plastic. The premier trim is a much better feeling (dare I say "squishy") product, but I wanted my interior solid black (dark charcoal).

What is in place of the leather on the door arm rests, console lid, and dashboard if you do not have the premier package?

I have added the armrest, pedal covers, and shifter boot to my car. The door panels and dash would be too expensive to justify adding, so I'm not going to bother with those. The rest of the parts were all around or less than $100 each so I felt that was worth it. www.partscheap.com has the armrest and shifter boot. CDC has the pedals.

These are from my GT Deluxe w/ no options. Bare bones just the way I wanted it. Sorry about the hot spots from the flash - the weather was horrible here today and had no natural lighting to shoot from. I can take more/better pics if ya want.

My 07 GT is the deluxe coupe w/o the IUP or leather interior. The only leather is the Wheelskins cover I installed on the vinyl steering wheel. The dashboard, center console, and door panels are all vinyl (soft squishy vinyl).

Because I ordered my car, the way I wanted and the 05+ Retro is what I wanted. I can buy a 2010 or 2012 bare-bones.............. and I will buy one .........It really wouldn't matter to me. Atfer these cars, every thing else is just a Fade

The steering wheel is a "squishy" rubber like material and the console lid and arm rests are the same squishy material. The dash and door cover are hard plastic - not squishy - but the same texture. The door cover insert (above the arm rest) is the same hard plastic but with a smoother texture. HTH.
