I want a piece of chrome that follows the window surround circa the 60's Mustangs. See This Mustang or This one or This one or any other mustang from the 60's. If you look at it from the side, our mustangs have the same line to the window surround - why not chrome surround?

 

Somebody does make them ... check out the thread in the exterior section on the SHR flush mount louvers , one of the guy's has pictures with them on the louvers ...

 

I believe he's talking about the plastic that outlines the driver and passenger windows.

I've thought about this in the past, and I almost think it'd look out of place on the new body style. While the S197 has retro look, I'm not sure it lends itself to a lot of chrome trim.

Yeah, I was talking about the trim around the windows, not the louvers. I would love to see this just to see. Actually, if anyone knows who will make some - I'd like to have it.
