Do you stick your finger in the crack?
For over 20 years, I have gotten used to steering with my left hand at the bottom of the wheel. Palm down, four fingers over, thumb under, right in the middle. This is a minor complaint, 'cause I love the new styling and the three-spoke wheel, but now there is this big spoke in my way. I've tried the old "10 and 2" thing, and an 8o'clock version, but my hand always end up back at 6, with my middle finger in the slot of the spoke. It's not even comfortable, but if I'm not paying attention, that's how I end up.
I've tried to break the habit, but my finger is stuck. Is anyone else dealing with this silly problem?

On a side note, isn't it funny that the word innuendo is ITSELF, an 'innuendo'.
Things that make you go 'Hmmm'!

The old "suicide ****" from yesteryear. Not sure how that would look though!

I really don't like the way the steering wheel feels.
I had a 94 Mustang GT and the steering wheel felt better than my current 05 GT.
I also don't like that the leather is not continuous around the wheel. It is interrupted by these big spokes that have no leather on them.
I like this though: http://bradbarnett.net/mustangs/show...5/shelby/8.jpg
I might have to get one of those and install it on my 05 GT

I always drove with my left hand on the wheel and right on the gear shift. But last year I went to the Evolution autocross driving school and they insisted that I place my hands just above the spokes at 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock positions. They say that you have maximum control of the vehicle if you maintain that position. Its best through the twisties and best if you find youself in an emergency situation. It's taken me six months, but I'm finally use to the change and its not bad for daily driving.
Ok I have an auto and I know I am not alone there. But am I the only one here who seems to drive with their right hand instead of their left?
BOT though I had a 96 & I used to drive with both hands wrapped around the middle with my thumbs resting on the horn/airbag. I had to seriosuly get used to not doing that in my 02 & 03 as the cruise control buttons got in the way. With I didn't have cc on the 96 & therefore the steering wheel fit my hands perfectly there.
That being said I do sometimes tend to stick a finger in a spoke from time to time. However I usually know when I do because it usually hurts like hadies.
