I'll get on it twice a day, exploding to the 6500 rpm redline, merging onto my 6 mile highway ride to work and on my way home. I do that from 25 mph to about 80 and then back off to 70 when I'm safely in. I don't beat on her though. (burnouts and all the stuff) That's cool and all but not in my car.

Every morning on the way to work I hammer on it to merge on to the highway, and every day it is just as much fun as the day before.

I beat on mine at the track every week. Local track every Thursday night.

On weekends to, but not as often.

On the street I drive normal most of the time, but a good freeway on ramp or merge is always fun.

I hit redline every time I accellerate.. but I don't consider that beating. That's what it was designed to do. I consider dropping the clutch at 2k-3k to be somewhat beating.. and try to limit myself to only one hard launch per month.

For me, I voted the 5-20, but its in the low end, around 5-8 as I only drive it on the weekends (company car for work). I plan on keeping this car for as long as I am alive, so I baby it, and drive it carefully....BUT, when I make a turn onto an empty 2 lane highway around where I live with no one in front, I open her up a bit. Gotta clean the snot out if it every so often.

I dont do burnouts for fear of damaging the tires...the clutch.....and the brakes. I just recently discovered what happens when you put the pedal all the way down. I may need to do that a little more often.

Since my wife drives it most of the time, its up to me to AIR IT OUT!
I saw 5500rpm, and 140hph on 175 leaving Dallas, after leaving I-75! You figure it out!
Yes i drive it easy, and love the tire smell! I run a Radar detector, and slow down for every beep, false signal or other wise. We love to go fast and take every oppertunity to do so. But im not a maniac!
Isnt that what owning a sports car is about?

It is nice to see some folks actually admitting to getting on it now and again!

I enjoy the cars... and once or twice a year the whole family goes to Englishtown for bracket racing.

I don't consider driving a car hard and using it to its potential to be "beating on it". After all, they were meant to be driven; not put in a museum. Now on the other hand, I occasionally travel for work and some of the crap-box GM rental cars I've gotten... yeah, I definitely beat on them.

I'm in the 0-5 range, but that's only because I only drive it once or twice a weekend. I've got my 1993 beater F150 for the daily drive and office parking lots.

When I first got my car, I took it to redline at least once per trip. I settled down after a few weeks, and generally I'm pretty tame behind the wheel. Plus it's kind of hard to get on it when the roads are either wet, snowy, or icy. Winter needs to be over like NOW

0-5 Very rarely - I have a 7 mile (backroad) commute to work and she rarely see's over 2.5k. Now the weekends are a different story, but I still don't 'beat' her.

Oh yeah, I jump on it once in while! When the situation is safe to do so. i voted 5-20 times, and that's probably pretty close. I don't "beat" my car though, they're made to be driven and I drive it, sometimes hard! Puts a huge on my face.

During spring and summer I see 5k about 4 or 5 times a week; in winter, I'm lucky to see 3k on the tach due to the weather
