I think they designed the Mustang interior ergonomics for the 95% percentile of people

You can get a seatbelt extender from your parts department. They are useful for the more "full figured" Mustangers out there. I guess they would work as well for the "height challenged" among you. They are FREE. You just have to ask them to order you one or two. You could contact 05stangkc about it. Here is his link. http://forums.bradbarnett.net/showth...light=seatbelt

Actually, if you pull it under your arm, instead of over your shoulder, it is much more comfortable. I had the extender's on my 05. Really thought my 07 would have had that corrected, oh well. Now I'm just use to it. Oh yeah, I'm 6'2".

Or, you can order a convertible. :-)

The belt is located much lower then!

+1

I found that to be true for me. I'm 6'3" and it was a pain to reach over my shoulder. Reaching under the shoulder was easier.

Wearing it under your arm doesn't sound like a good idea.

Your shoulder is a lot tougher than your peck. Crash forces are pretty violent.

No one said to wear the belt under your arm. Grab the seat belt by going under your shoulder and then wear it normally.

What he said! Maybe adjusting the seat height upward or downward would help?

That won't work. I'm 6'3". My preferred seat height is too high for the S197 GT. My head would smash into the roof each time I hit a bump.

I am 5'7" and I raised my seat up the other day and it helped out a lot. IMO
