the only thing ive heard about being reworked is the cars with the IUP, main problems were in mexico where they were being assembled, quality issues down there. they may just now be getting around to the problem but its nothing major. Theyve got a huge tent just down the road from me (Woodhaven Autoport) where theyve been storing/reworking them since they noticed the problem. if i can find out anything else ill be sure to post

"I got a call from my dealer today." I was scheduled for delivery on 10/14. My dealer told me today that my car is at railhead 5P-which is in Flatrock, Michigan. He also stated that there was a delay due to the rail carrier, maybe weather. Also the status changed from ETA 10/14 to TBD. Whatever with the excuses, just call me when you have it!

Great to have you here...
Ask your friend what quality hold is and how long they will be held!

I just talked to a Dealer here in Texas and he said that some of their GT's were delayed, so maybe there is some truth to this rumor. He didn't have any details as to what might be causing the delay.
Hi... My husband works for Bill Utter Ford here in North Texas and they got a GT in today... He said it's beautiful! He said my V-6 should be in tomorrow.... [/b][/quote]
I talked with my dealer today and he said my silver GT and a yellow V6 are due in next. I guess that is your car. Congrats. The car that your husband saw was windivel blue correct? Talk to you later

James

So this is just a total nightmare. SOmeone shoot me in my $%&#ing head.

SO even though Mines been realsed from the "quality hold" its stil lgonna take a week or so to get here. This is absolutley ridiculous. THis is a brand new popular cazar, and Ford is $%&#ing up. They need to get their poo together with something as important as this.

Can I call the VOPC to see the status of my car? If so, what is the number?

I know you are eagerly waiting the new stang,

I guess with me, I would rather wait a week and be sure the car is ok than have to bring it back 5 times in the first 6 months for quality issues.

Ford is doing a much smarter thing with the Mustang launch as opposed to the launches of the escape and focus where they rushed it and there were many recalls in the early months.

Yeah yeah yeah.... I've heard this I've heard that. I've heard they're holding them for rear axle noise, and that was from my own dealership. I ordered it from Detroit specifically so that I could get it early, so much for that theory. There here in ATL before they're in DET.

From: Beautiful New Hampshire!!!
OK, I guess that everyone is on hyper mode waiting on their cars, I understand!!! Try building them every day, including Sat., touching them, seeing them drive around, and not even having one on order!!!!!!!!!!!! BTW, we are NOT slowing production!! Scheduled for 2 shifts this Sat(10/16) and I hope thats all for this month!! Sorry, would like to see wife and kids some ,too!! AAI did lose half a shift yesterday, but for a Mazda related issue, and we fixed it before going on. B)

Listen, I know Ford did the "responsible" thing by keeping them to be fixed.

What's not responsible it not updatign the dealers immediatly. I've been thinking my car would come every day now for 2 weeks and my dealer has too. Not until TODAY were they up[dated with this info. Not until yesterday was the Vehicle Ststus chaned to "On Hold"

Its irresponsible for a company to have that happen, IMO

I heard something about a problem with the fuel delivery system that would account for this.
I know what the problem is with that. There isn't one out here yet that I can deliver fuel to with my right foot.

John, do you have any idea what the "quality" issue is that may be holding things up...5000 cars is quite a bit. (momma always said to never buy a first year model)...

#2- It is a free country and I'll present what I want.
#3- With the liberal media broadcasting all sorts of bias media the last thing you need to worry about is my little avatar.

Anywho...sorry to everybody w/ a car on order and being held. I currently do not have one on order but can't wait to see 'em. According to the Ford Website my dealership is suppose to get three (1 GT, 2 V6's) Hope they aren't on hold, sure do wanna see em!
