i test drove a black GT premium manual and i fell in love. i was gonna buy it already i was just waiting for the perfect time to order. but testing it seals the deal. ive already ordered so my wait has begun and anyone who hasnt tested who is/did order definitely try to get a test drive. i havent driven it since october but i do go to the dealers every now and then to play in the car. i do full inspections this way when i get the car i know where everything is

 

I ordered a vert, but I drove a black coupe GT manual with IUP and ICAP before I ordered. I went there to drive it one day, and they said it was sold, and they were working on the paperwork. Two days later, it was still there.....deal fell through....so I got to drive it.

 

I test drove both a manual and auto V6 on a Friday mourning & Found A GT on- line at a local deal on Firday Afternoon and emailed him to see if it was still avaliable. It was the color and options that I wanted. He called at 6:00pm and said it was still there.

Wife and I went down took a test drive at 6:45 and bought it at 7:30pm...

 

I ordered mine in July and it was delivered to my house on Dec. 4th. None available for a test drive although I did sit in a GT several weeks before mine arrived.

This car is better than I expected and well worth the wait.

After reading the reviews of the '05 GT, I had to have one. Not only hadn't I driven one, I'd never seen one in the flesh. I was able to find one in the inventory of a buying service configured the way I wanted (GT Premium, 5 speed manual, Shaker 500, interior upgrade, My Color, etc.) so I bought it sight unseen and flew back to the US Dec 17 to pick it up.

The car exceeded my expectations.

 

My salesman let me get in a pretty good test drive of a black manual GT with ICAP (which sold me on that option) and I knew I had to order that day. That transmission was sooooo smooth and I haven't driven a stick in a couple of years.

Plus, I was able to get some highway and street driving, which was nice... can't wait to do that regularly!

 

They called me when they got a manual transmission car in and I went over and took the salesman for a ride he would not forget anytime soon, his eyes were as big as plates, and bought the car when we returned

 

I ordered it an 05GT, it came in and I drove away happy. No test drive.

 

No test drive, only saw pics. Didn't hesitate to purchase sight unseen.

 

I drove my brother-in-law's V6 Auto and ordered a GT Manual.

He called me a Bitc... ! :shock:

i know that the GT wont let me down..but its just that i cant put an order in until i know the GTs are going to be more abundant, lower prices (so i can use my x-plan) and friggin test drive one, but no freakin ::insert vast amount of explitives lol:: dealer will let me test drive one at all! they all treat me like crap like im some dumb kid, ive shown them a deposit slip of how much i can put down and everything and my freakin great credit rating (im 19 and my credit rating is 765) and ill have a co-signer to take away the risk (my dad w\a much higher credit score) and im looking to put down 10k!!! they wont even let me test drive a darn V6 either...i hate the dealers in my area...i wish ford would just step in and take over these crappy dealers, it pisses me off sooo badly as u can tell!!! :flame2:

 

No, I ordered in June, shorlty after the order banks opened (May 25?)

Didn't go to the car show for the first time since age 4. I think the February 2004 Car & Driver was my first glimps of the 2 cars (C6 & Mustang GT) I was considering.

Saw the concept on the web around Late '02-'03 and held off on an '03 GT.
Test drove an '03 Cobra vert. (leftover) @ the dealer that I was gonna order from and decided to hold out for the new body GT.

 

I didn't get to test drive a GT, but I did test drive one of the V6's.

 

I did not test drive before I ordered. I did see it in person tho. After my order, the dealer called me as they unloaded their 1st GT so that I could drive it
