So after weeks of pinging just about every dealer within 200 miles I finally hit pay dirt! Called a dealer with existing GT inventory and he's committed to selling one to me at X-plan price!! It's in inventory and we're exchanging information right now with the plan for me to pick it up this weekend.

It's windveil blue (about 3rd on my list of favorites but it's quickly growing on me), dark-charcoal leather, automatic (wife's got to have it), IUP, Shaker 500.

So to everyone out there don't give up. Keep e-mailing/calling dealers on a regular basis. Who knows if you hit them up at the right time they may be willing to deal.

 

Wow, that's awesome! That's the first I've heard of a dealer accepting X-plan for a car in inventory. I thought the discount plans were only for new orders. Windveil Blue is a beautiful color, you'll love it!

 

WTG Art. Thats how I found mine after the dealer I originally ordered it from backed out on the x-plan (I had nothing in writing). The dealer I wound up buying it from was just waiting on the delivery, so it wasn't sitting on their lot getting test miles. It had some extra's like the 1000w shaker, and red leather but in hind site I'm glad it did.

MOC, dealer's been great. My sales guy was shocked his manager went for X plan. I honestly was expecting a no since I had already asked about a dozen dealers before talking to him.

The probably wanted to move the '05 to help their '06 alocation. I like the windveil blue. I pass one on my way home from work every day. It's probably the most nostalgic of the colors.

 

Posting a pic. Windveil has really grown on me. Should look even sweeter with the rocker stripe, SS fog lamp inserts, and more satin silver for the dash.
