I'm 40, born in 1964 1/2 (really).

Mom's first new car was a '66 Coupe, 289, pony interior etc. I can still remember how neat the interior was, turquiose and white with that wood and chrome steering wheel. It seemed big then...lol

Great site Brad!

When i'm out and about, it seems like all the gt owners are teens and lower twenties. Unless they have a nice down payment, i dont know how they can afford a $400+ a month car payment! I know i sure couldn't back then.

btw i'm 31.

29. The 2005 or 2006 (whichever I end up with) will be 3rd Mustang technically. I've owned a 93 LX 5.0 (still miss it) and a 77 Mustang II (never missed it).

I also own a 68 Camaro RS and a 2000 Z28. So yeah I am a huge fan of domestic pony/muscle cars. I will be trading the 2000 for the 2005 though. I can't afford both because I am also restoring the 68. SOmethings gotta give!

... You certainly don't look it.

I'm 22 (close enough to 23) and am getting a GT because I can't afford the 67 Shelby I've been dreaming about since I was 5.

.. And I can't afford a $400/month payment, yet. I'm keeping $4000-$6000 in the bank to pay for half my payment every month until I graduate college and get a "real" job. $8.50/hr at a movie theatre isn't gonna cut it very long.

DJ - those people at school aren't your friends......if they've waited til now, they are leeches. BEWARE!

Oh - this is my first Stang and I'm 36. It'll be well worth the wait!

31, 2nd stang. First was a 92 LX 5.0 when I was 18. It was my first car, and I've missed it since I sold it. Kind of why I'm going back.

I'll be 21 in 5 months.

The only people I know that are my age who have seen the new design and don't like it are the ones who just paid $25k for used Camaros. Go figure.
23 here...

That's what bothers me-- what does the Camaro have going for it?

Horsepower...

...

... and that's about it.

What does the Mustang have going for it?

-- Existence, for one thing!

-- Decent power

-- Affordability

-- Style

-- Finesse

-- Heritage...

... and I can keep going, if needed.

It's official. The Chevrolet Camaro is the K-Mart knock-off of the pony-car world! B)
