Cool

It hit me the other day that I talk to you guys (and gals) all the time about Mustang stuff...and I was suddenly curious what kind of demographics we have in here who are excited about the new Mustang. We've talked about the younger generation not being as excited, but I thought this would be a good way to see if that's really true.

So fess up! In a non-offensive way...via a poll!

I'll be 21 in 5 months.

The only people I know that are my age who have seen the new design and don't like it are the ones who just paid $25k for used Camaros. Go figure.

Or... Younger members going V6 = Me

I dont need a V8. I just want something reliable vs my old mercedez with no airbags and shaky steering wheel.... ect.

Although I've heard bad and good things about fords... I hope my first bought car doesnt end up having a load of problems... guess 6 months of waiting will show...?

50 - and I always have been a Mustang fan (well, other than the Pinto based models in the mid 70's).

So, am I the geezer here?

Hey, I also remember the old(new at the time) stangs running around with the dusters, chargers, road runners, challengers, camaros, gto's, firebirds, vetts, etc. Sure was nice to open a hood and see nothing much except ENGINE... Even a monkey could work on the old ones. Now you need to carry around a little Japanese mechanic/engineer to change plugs. Plus the different models in each group were also great.(ss, z28, boss, cobra, GT, etc). B) B)

No Steve, your not the only one. But its great to see the younger people embracing the new Stang. Maybe there's hope that our future designers will create some good looking cars.

I'm 17 and getting a GT, and let me tellyou, I never knew I had so many friends as I do at school now that most people know what car I'll be driving in a month.

And I'm proud to say I'm paying for it.
