1) They got the OK to ship on Friday Oct 1st, no cars were shipped before Friday Oct 1st
2) Now alot of dealerships are saying the same thing "The week of Oct 10th" whereas in the past every dealership had their own story. These were clearly just stories because of point number 1 as well as being inconsistant from dealer to dealer.
When you suddenly have so many dealers saying the same thing this gives it a bit more credability. Now that shipping has started they have actual data, they no longer feel the urge to make up data.

Stopped by the local dealer @ lunch today . Picked up a brochure. My sales guy is sending me some kind of invitation to a Mustang related event that happens Wed or Thur of next week.
FYI> had my trade-in appraised . We need to get the appraisal guy tested for drugs. I think he is smoking crack !

If I may make one more post about this, referring back to the original post, my dealer has never been one to hype or otherwise deliver inaccurate info. Through 3 Mustangs and 3 Thunderbirds.....every one has arrived the week the information said it would arrive. Now, this might be the first, but I doubt it. In fact, I'll make you a little wager. I predict the 05 Mustang will arrive no later than Thursday, Oct. 14. If it does not, I will perform the ultimate embarrasment. I'll have my photo taken standing beside my neighbor's red Camaro. Yukk.

Who here knows what rail code 35A is? My dealer said the shpd convoy code was 35A. He, at that moment, forgot what the rail code was for his dealership.
