My dealer just called. He just got the print out on my car as it had moved from TBD to convoy to ETA. He says it will arrive the week of October 10, 2004.
Through many other Mustangs and Birds over the years, he has always been accurate on the delivery info. My camera is loaded and ready. In fact; two digitals are charged and ready. I promise pics the moment I take delivery.......but the point is............IT'S CLOSE! IT'S ALMOST HERE! Isn't it fun to never grow up in some ways???

Agreed, Beach. Daily life isn't always a lot of fun, so it is great to have something like this to be playful about!

Congrats on your imminent Mustang arrival. Try not to lose too much sleep!

My Woodfield Ford dealer (Schaumburg, IL) also is getting a fully loaded Perf. White GT -- intersting how yours is too. Maybe a popular floor model combo of colors?

It's coming to Lums Ford in Albemarle, North Carolina. I've been doing business with them for over 23 years and they have always been super.

Congrats! That's next week. I am guessing all the early orders will be getting theirs in the next couple weeks. We are finally almost there.

Word has it California, Texas and Florida will have the first shot at the new Mustangs. Maybe NC & SC are on the same route as Florida?

Donna; I am at the Beach (North Myrtle Beach) , but also have an office in Albemarle, N. C. I'll be bringing the GT to NMB as soon as it arrives. What beach are you going to? If it's here, there's a big classic/ antique and specialty car show at Barefoot Landing on 10/16. I'll have the "05" mustang at the show, so come see us!

Cool! We are going to Garden City but we go to North Myrtle to buy Shrimp. We are leaving tomorrow and coming home on the 16th but I am bringing shrimp home with me so we will be right by Barefoot Landing before we head home. I will be on the lookout!!

Here is an email I just received from my salesman:

"I talked to my District Ford manager and he said all orders were ok'ed to be shipped on Tuesday and the computer shows a dealer ETA of 9/22. Well so much for computers. I feel it is on a rail car and could show up some time next week. This is only a guess since the computer is wrong and not showing a rail car # unless they are shipping it by truck which is something they sometimes do. I am checking every day at the trucking company yard looking for it . As far as the arrival and the cleaning, I will call you as soon as the car comes off the truck. What is the best # to call?"

I hope his guess is accurate and I get my car some time during the week of October 11th! Ohhhh it's gonna be sweet cruising around the streets of the greater Houston area with one of the first new Mustangs in town!

I'm not trying to give you a hard time, it's just that I posted a thread like this yesterday with a ETA date and document to match and it was met with a less than warm responce! B) But hey, no worries!

I hope you get your Car at the earliest possible date, say Monday morning 7:00 AM!

I'll be pulling for ya!

We all want the cars to arrive, but for 3 weeks now people have been saying "im getting mine delivered on XXXXXX" and it never happens. We need to stop these threads until they actually do start arriving.

The differance is noone in this thread is saying "Im getting mine at exactly 10-10-04 7:00am" These are ETA(Estimated Time of Arrival) these are added to the order by Ford when the vehicle is shipped.

Being an Estimate they do have a degree of error, but an ETA is much better than the status has been since these cars were built.

Delivery: TBD(To be Determined)

Were just announcing that our cars have actually been shipped, and the estimated time of arrive. Just as many people have announced their Build date, in the past.

He said hes getting it the week of 10/10. We have had numerous dealerships tell people similar things for the past three weeks and none of them have been right. I hope for his sake that his is, but we need to have a "delivery date" sticky or something ...
