Why does it seem the newer the car and the more the owner loves the car, the more likely it'll get damaged?

No I disagree, It isn't bad enough for that. It looks like it got his fender and front bumper cover. I don't think it done any damage to the hood ,according to the pictures.No need to get rid of it for that!
