Got the call today that my GT was at the dealership. Went in to take a look at it and finalize all the paperwork. Unfortunately due to my own poor planning (or Ford's at delivering two week's early) I won't be able to take the delivery until the first because of some final paperwork I need to take care of. All I can say about it is . Everyone at the dealership was crazy about the car. Took my dealer out for a ride. He was very impressed with it. He hadn't had a chance to ride in the new mustang GT yet. Very easy to drive, fit and finish were excellent. Even the technician who got to take it out for a test spin was very impressed. Can't wait till wednesday so I can have it home at least, this weekend is definitly going to kill me, but I know it's there at least. Dealer already said I could come pick it up tomorrow to show it off for a few hours. Hope to get some pictures up soon, but don't have a digicam at the moment so I'll have to borrow someones. BTW, ordered on 10/06, delivery could have been today, 11/26

I would murder the tech who took it out. My saleswoman grabbed both sets of keys as soon as they came in and hid them ... and the only time its leaving the lot is for my test drive to the gas station to get it filled up.

Well said Grantsdale. I test drove an '05 GT right after they unloaded it the other day. The tech took it out before my test drive and as soon as he left the dealership he was driving it like he stole it. Said he needed to take it out first to make sure it didn't need an alignment or have and sqweaks or rattles. The only sound coming from that car was the tech burning the tires off.

okay, changed my mind, and called the dealership, picking it up tomorrow. Convinced them that the paperwork could wait till Monday and I absolutely must have my mustang on Saturday.

I'm confused at what paperwork would take that long to process ?

I can usually get a car purchased within a half hour these days ...
