I never heard of this but the sales manager at my dealer states they gave up 2 allocations for me to get my GT Vert Prem ASAP.

Has anybody heard of this or is this more BS.

It seems to me they would be losing money to give up 2 sales for my 1.

They also said they were pulling as many strings as possible to get one of the first and a February build date.

I agree unless perhaps they are out of their GT allocations. I wonder if it would be possible to trade in two 6 cylinders for a GT? The dealers in my town are overloaded with V6s. When I ordered my GT I was #9 on the order list.

I was thinking the same. I was the first and only vert they had on order for a long time. There was another one ordered after mine but I made sure I was still a priority 10 today which should put me ahead of someone else who ordered after me barring any commodity problems.
