I was talking to my ford dealer about buying a 2005 mustang and he said that production has been delayed a little, he does not have the prices so if he doesnt then what are those prices all online "fake"?? and he said he wont be getting any till late october
can someone verify this
espescially if someone can tell me if ford released those prices

some production has been delayed...i.e. V6 manual transmission til 11/29. The prices are not fake, check the sticky about the press release.

Tell your dealer to straighten out or you're going elsewhere:

I emailed my dealer the pdf file. He still didn't receive the prices in his system. He still wanted to wait on being able to build my vehicle his system to get my pricing. He did tell me that my price will be below MSRP. The difference between invoice and msrp is not that much anyhow.

He also told me that considering my build date 9/20 and the launch 9/27, I should see mine late into October- 2-3 week ship time from AAI to Tampa, FL.

I called the biggest Ford dealer in Illinois. They said they ordered 2 Mustangs -- a V6 and V8 -- for demo purposes. The stock/customer order bank is not yet open until later this month. They think Mustangs will start hitting their lot in November... I seriously wish all the info thrown around would match, even on this site...

It's all good, guys. The prices posted on this site are correct and the Mustangs are being built on schedule. I have two sold GTs in in process. One is produced and awaiting a delivery date and the other is pulled for production but no build date yet. All systems go. The Ford pricing press release posted by Brad came from the FMCdealer intranet and says the Mustangs will arrive at dealers in October. There is no officially announced delay at this time.

Me too . Every day I slow down on the way home from work when I pass the Ford dealer to see if they have arrived. I hope I don't get in a wreck the first day I actually see one!

I'd hate to have to walk to that parking spot and then find my car.

Just as a general word of warning about the quality of dealership information, back in May and June lots of dealerships were telling people they were expecting the new 2005 Mustangs Middle to end of August. This was after Ford memo's had shown building was scheduled to start on 9-7-2004

In my experiance Dealerships know very little about future vehicles.

Pulling my teeth with pliers is more fun than a trip to the car dealer. Makes me want to vomit to think about it.
Im going through my bank, and spending as LITTLE time as possible there for Eleanor.

Pricing came through on my order today. $25409 fully loaded GT on the "D" plan. That is a confirmed price from Ford. The only thing I do not have is a delivery date.
