It was however in the 50's 60's here though - definitely not standard Florida weather - but I sure didn't mind...)
Yeah, life is a little rough sometimes, but I am glad you could deal with it. Did you know it was negative 6 degrees with the windchill yesterday in Pittsburgh. Wasn't easy washing the car last night. Good thing for those power washing stations. $1.75 can wash the salt off, but you have to watch out for the ice you are making around you.

I have had mine almost a month. Everytime I get out and walk away, I turn around and look at her. I get the same feeling "wow, its mine!!"

Congrats, what part of South FL are you from? Miami?
Hey Mav - I am currently in Sunrise, where my brother lives. Come January, I'm moving up to Boynton Beach. Closer to work and where the DK II will have is own safe garage to sleep in.

Kluski - NEGATIVE SIX???!
Daaaeeem....... man I miss the cooler northern weather alot .... but not THAT much!! Can;t imagine trying to wash the car in that, power washing station or no.
Thanks for the comments - yeah, "Wow its mine!" is right!!!

$1.75 and 4 minutes of being outside with a REALLY HEAVY jacket on; worth it to be able to get the heavy amounts of salt off from driving around.

It much warmer today (about 40 degrees)

I have a black with bullitts and love it, hard to keep up, but well worth it when it's done right. Congrats on your new pony!

Funny - I was just about to throw up a post on here about the cover - I ordered from Car Cover World (www.carcoverworld.com) - custom made on each order. I chose the NOAH model and it fits absolutely perfect - nice and snug but not too tight. Like a glove for the car, literally. The eyeholes to run the cable through have a great little flap on the inside of the cover between the hole and the car - so when you run your cable through, it protects you accidentally touching the car.

I believe my total for the cover was $179.00 or so - they give you a sweet drawstring carry bag for the cover (made out of the same material) and a cable and lock set free of charge. And the lock itself has a rubber 'sheath' around the leading edges so it will not chip your car if it happens to hit it by mistake.

I need to drop them an email to let them know how happy I am with it. B)

Kluski - it hit 40?... Woohooo!! Break out the swim trunks!!

Giddyup - yeah, that IS a garage there. This is my brother's house (I'm there for the time being - move into my new place January 7th with a nice big garage ALL for the GT... ) and the garage is usually either occupied by my sister-in-law's Redfire GT..... or THIS:

We trailered my sister-on-law's car up to the dealership (about 50 miles) to have the ticking noise looked at - so figured we'd just throw the Dark Knight in up there and give it a nice easy ride home.

My brother (as you can see from his Bullitt drag car) is serious about the family autos and figured why not save a fews miles on the odometer getting it home?....
