Dark Blue Pearl

I think if they came out with a Daytona Blue like the 350z or Winning Blue like the RX-8 those would be some hot blues.
350z Daytona Blue
RX-8 Winning Blue
After the first year I might have my Mustang repainted Winning Blue.

I have an Indi Blue Mini Cooper S and seems very close match to your Dark Blue Pearl. Color is a great blue and really waxes up nice... the down side is that it is so dark that it shows a dirt right away like black ...
IMO it would be a better color than sonic though.... Sonic Blue to me looks purplish...and i have seen one in person.. Blue is my favorite color as well... so it is not that i do not like blue..
I would prefer a primary blue something that screams blue like the Torch Red screams red...

There's a couple of threads about this, but I mentioned in the other one that if they're going vintage, why not bring back the blues they used to have? .... and 20 color choices for that matter.
midnight turqoise
midnight mist blue
caspian blue
stuff like that, to name a few. (yes, I'm partial to the very dark blues)

Hey Clint, how bout some pics of those blues, I'm also partial to dark blues (thers should have been a midnight blue option).

I loved the Atlantic Blue on my '98. I think that would be a worthy color to bring back. Sonic Blue and Bright Atlantic Blue are too bright for my tastes.

I think midnight blues are too close to black, yet not as cool looking as black. To me the pointy of getting a blue car is to have some color and brightness, not to be a nearly-black car that is just as hard to care for. JMHO.

That's right....you better recognize.
Anyway....my opinion. I "like" it better but don't love it. Like someone said, I like more blue than purple in the color. Hope you get your wish.

Shame that Sonic Blue is going away, I fell in love with it on a Mustang a couple of years ago.
Thing is, is there some physical limit to the paint shop offerings? The SRT-4 is a fun car to drive, but your color choices are: Flat Red, Silver, or Black, unless you have one of the 100 Yellow ones. It was pathetic. Corvette drivers are in not much better shape.
Can AAI handle more than 10 Colors? Is anyone really worried about ordering 2000 gallons of Puke Green and only using 17 gallons during the year? Has anyone ever picked a color for the Mustang because it was ONLY offered on the Mustang? There are some metallic Ford truck colors that would kick hiney if they offered them on the Stang, and would just contribute to the personal choices (God Bless America) that we would have.
I would love to see the metallic orange like the Murcielago was presented in. Maybe not my choice, but it would be interesting.
True Blue, Dark Blue Pearl, Sonic Blue, Winning Blue, Windveil Blue, all are cool.
Personally I would love to see the blue you get on certain gun barrels, a Cold Steel Blue, grayer and harder than Winning Blue. And an even more purplish blue, like Blue-Indigo, or a Lapis Lazuli.
Anyway, colors make life interesting. Mustangs should be available in about 20-25, ideally.

I love the color on the 500 but the Mustang has a great blue and the fact that it subtly changes just enhances the Mustangs lines.
I like the Sonic better on the Mustang. Plus, I would like the Mustang to have Mustang-only colors too.
