D@MN DEER!!!!!!!!!

God I hate the winter weather, friggen deer all over. Driving down the road to do an overnight at the firehouse, turned down the road, about 1/4 down, out of the corner of my eye jumped out, slammed on my brakes and boom! dead deer, mustang injured. not a good day for me

Keep you all posted with the outcome...

Musta been a small deer. If you hit it hard enough to kill it, and it was a good sized deer, I would have expected more damage. Thank goodness it isn't worse. Not that it matters. Its just as aggravating either way.

Sorry to hear. They're all up and down the road where I live. Driving at night stinks because you can't see 'em.

Good eatin' though!

Glad to hear your okay buddy. When I got your text, my heart sank! I know how much you take care of your car. Don't worry, it will be fixed in no time and be good as new. Maybe, thinking positively, you can do a Shelby Conversion now.

I kid you not, some guys in a pickup truck came down the road 5 min after I killed it, scooped and threw it in the back of their pickup and took off before the cops could see the dead deer. If I had not showed the cop my badge, he probably would have thought I was lieing to him about hitting a deer.

Wow.... glad you are ok. Deer can surely be a problem, especially this time of year. We have them everywhere. As for the car, well..ouch! I am sure it can be fixed up. Just one of those irritating things that happen. Just be glad you are alright.

More Mods, That’s the bright side.
Maybe a GT/CS bumper cover or a Shelby hood, Billet grill. Its time for smiling. Just say thanks for not killing me mister dear. And thanks for the mods.

Ouch! Glad you are OK. Car doesn't look to bad, I'm sure your insurance will cover it. Look like you'll need a fender and headlamp for sure, and hopefully a new bumper valance and hood. I'd guess around $2500 there. I'd get a cool new supersnake style hood and a CS valance/bumper cover, na, scratch that, I'd go ahead and covert it over to a GT500 front end with a supersnake style hood. Might have to come out of pocket a little, but it would be worth it, since looks like insurance should cover around $2500 of it. I'm pulling that number out of my a$$, but I just got paid $932 for just my rear bumper. I ended with the GT/CS bumper cover, painted, and striped and put it on myself and ended up with $250 cash in my pocket.

well got the estimate from the adjuster. $3900. new bumper, new fender, new stripes and rocker panel stripe, new chin spoiler, new hood, new headlight and some after MWAG radiator extension cover that got destroyed.

now its time to choose a bumper and a hood

Really sorry to hear that man. They have been terrible here this year. I nailed a buck in my Explorer Limited a few months ago, and had 3 does run out in front of me in the Shelby last week that I barely missed, all within a 1/4 mile of my driveway.
