There is already a cruise set up for those south of irvine ( http://www.socalstangs.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11308 ), but none for those of us north or north/east of irvine. If you are interested, chime in ..... I was thinking of a cruise to Crystal Cove in the morning and then head down to the saleen show after. This may change depending on response. Also I'll be in the riverside area saturday morning so an "early bird" cruise could be in store for the IE people to OC also ....

Well I don't have any mods really to my '07 but I'd be game. I'm in N. OC and I think this would be very cool. I'll check back to see if this comes together.

And since you mentioned it .... Car MODs are not necessary to attend .... this is actually a good event too see those mods you were planning on getting ... without the sales pitches ....

 

if you are not signed up to show your car you cant do so at the show, so its just left for spectating, but very worth to go to and look around, lots of nice cars of all types and years of stangs and other cool fords, and the factory is opened up to look around, very cool time, but dont worry about not being modded, just go and have fun.

 

btw be careful coming and going from the show, cops sit on the street the factory is on.

 

OK I'm confused but I'd like to go. Is it on Friday or Saturday? I'm in Spring Valley where can I meet up for the cruise up to Irvine??

 

its saturday and if youd like to cruise up from SD, there are 2 cruises that I know of, myself and some others are leaving North County at 9am so we can get there around 10 and have time to hang before a couple of us have to leave for work, but there is another one leaving Southern SD at 10am. Check socalstangs.com for both threads.

 

Read both threads but neither says where people are meeting up at to take off at 9 from San Diego. The only thing one of them says is that a couple of guys are going to jump in as you pass carlsbad.

Did you want to go with the late crew or the early crew? I am leading the early crew we are leaving at 9am and since the few of us are going and no one responded we were just planning on meeting up and leaving from my place, but if you and others would like to meet up then say so and well plan something.

As for the rest of you it takes response to get plans going, if someone throws something out there as an idea at least respond saying you are interested otherwise dont expect the planning to continue, most people wont bother to make a meeting place and time if no one says theyre interested.

 

The OC cruise to the show may not happen .... lack of interest .... but there are a couple of cars that are heading out to the show from corona. Let me know if your interested in that "mini-cruise" ....I'll probably be joining them ....

If your still going ..... I'll be leaving corona around 7:00 am ..... heading out for the CC show and then meeting up with rrobello? and others? before heading off to the saleen show ....
