Cruise control wont cruise???

i was driving home along I-95 this past weekend and my cruise control died, it was set on 85, it was drizzling and i had been driving for an hour and a half maybe. the cruise just turned off, i thought the car had died for a second

if i press the reset button for a few seconds then try to turn it on, the cruise icon glows for about 2 seconds then it turns off again, what is going on?

my battery died last week too, could it be related?

Maybe the car is smart enough to know that you are not suppose to use cruise when the roads are wet or snow covered so it refused to co-operate. Either that or there is some sort of fault that the dealer should be looking at. You didn't happen to have your foot riding the brake did you?

You should take it to the dealer and keep us informed.

I had the same problem, mine cut off when it was raining. Could not get it to come back on.
Tried it again the next day and it worked, haven't had a problem since.
