The vents in my car seem very cheaply made, they creak whenever i turn or even just touch them. They also seem to creak and make noise whenever there is air coming out of the vents, as if the air is moving the vents and causing them to creak. Its very annoying when your driving down the road and your car sounds like the inside of a submarine diving, with the vents creaking as if they were expanding. Has anyone had this problem, any fixes?

mine dont creak(yet) but if they did first thing I'd try is shooting a little armorall at moving points...would think the film left behind would lube well enough to prevent noises...I dont know about oiling, as some will attack/ruin plastic (yours truly tried a little 'tri-flow' teflon oil I use on my r/c heli on a squeaky hoover vacuum cleaner wheel the wife was complaining about...2 days later the whole bottom end crumbled/fell apart). I cant imagine armorall harming any dash plastic as lots of folks use it for just that...
