Creaking sound

Does anyone have a slight creaking sound when pulling away from a stop? My car does and I was wondering if it is normal or what it could be?

Yes, I just noticed that it too. Very faint, but I can hear it. I'm thinking it may be the speedo needle, but I'm not sure.

I doubt its the needle because it sounds like it is coming from the wheel well area. I was suspecting the motor mounts because if i hold the brake and press the gas a drop, you still hear it. I think when the motor flexes in its mounts that is the noise, but I could be wrong.

Mine's coming more from inside the car in the dash area.

Oh well, it's not my first Ford... I'm used to things like that. Plus, I hear a TON of other things when driving due to the car being a vert

Is your car new or do you have new brakes by any chance? Sometimes you'll get a creak from new brakes seating in. Not specific to the Mustang. Just personal experience.

your car is an 07? mine seems to be making some creaking wheel noise during turns. i thought i read something about it possibly being the 8.8 rearend but that doesn't seem likely.

Spray some white Lithium grease into the springs and see if it helps?
