Hey All,

Just wanted to let everyone know that I took delivery of my Redfire 2005 Mustang GT this weekend. Friday night at 6pm I was in the process of packing my house for our upcoming move on Saturday when the phone rang. It was my salesman and thought for sure he was going to tell me my car was on hold or something. He simply says, hey can you come get this piece of !@#$ of my lot, I was there in 15 minutes.

I took forever to do the paperwork and get things done but I finally got it in the garage at the new house around 9:30 Friday night. Unfortunatly with the move this weekend I only found time to take it out for about a hour or so and then to work yesterday. The car is better than I could have hoped. I took my friend for a ride and so many people stopped to talk or give me a thumbs it my friend said he felt like Elvis.

I only have 1 minor issue with the car and its to be addressed by the dealership. Thereis a small hazy spot at the top of the passanger door about the size of a half dollar ( and I mean hazy ) and the bottom of the same door looks like it was hit or something and someone tried to fix it. You can definitly see where it looks like someone tried to repaint it.

The digi camara is in a box somewhere so I will clean it up and post pics later this week. The Dealership only did a so so job of cleaner her.

I have named her Seconds after the U2 song. It only takes a second to say goodbye to someone when your driven that baby.

Thanks to Brad and all the Mods here at the Source.

PS: I was thinking Whipple but after I have driver her just a couple of minor one for me.

Got the spoiler. I was'nt sure if I was going to like it but I do.

If anyone is going to use this as a daily driver, may I suggest lowjack or some other type of quality security system. I drove it to work yesterday just to show off, I mean show people I really had one and it draws a crowd. It was all the way in the back so I could see it from the office and people were stopping by it all the time. I watched a truck load of landscapers, and least 8 guys stop thier truck and get out to check it out. Needless to say it was hard to work yesterday.

Congrats. After hearing all of the stories on people gawking at the car it will be nerve racking to see people hoarding around your car. The hardest day for me is when I look at my car sitting in the parking lot while I am working.

all the people looking at it is security enough, who'd be ballsy enough to steal a car with a dozen people surrounding it

When you work around the DC area you could have the national guard standing around it and some joker would try and jack it. We've had rollbacks pull into to the parking lot roll on a cars and leave. And I'm not talking repos. I personaly witnessed a guy pull up to a bank with a crowded parking lot carrying two dirt bikes on a trialer strapped down. Got out went in the door, two guys in a panel van pulled up cut the straps and gone. I called police right on the spot and they still were'nt caught.

You know I'm jealous right?? I went to Bob Bell on Sunday and didn't see any. Mine is still on its way apparently...I hate thinking that there is an 05 owned by someone living 10 minutes away. I WANTED TO BE THE FIRST!!
