Cow, Seat, Bulb, Bag OK, but Frankenstein?

OK, so here is a sticker that was on the passenger side plastic seat cover in my new GT.
To me it says; leather upholstery, GT seat, non-electric, no side air bag, but Frankenstein!?!?
The only one I can think of is interior dress-up option, what do you think?

WTF! Maybe it's a peices part car. You know, a little Focus, a smidge of Taurus, some F-150 for flavor then bake at 375 for a week and you get a Mustang GT. Just a thought.
Wait, I know that's a rendering of the doofus who came up with Ford's allocation system!

It might be that anyone wanting leather is perhaps a monster?

I think someone at Ford (or a Ford partner) has a great sense of humor!
Perhaps the Frankenstein icon refers to the date and time the seat was assembled. There is a date and time directly above the Frankenstein head.
Congratulations, Paul on getting your ponycar.

Cool! A new universal symbol for manufacturing! Mary Shelley would be honored.
Hey John, when did you remove your seat plastic?

Just took them off to take the picture.
Just kidding
Took them off the 2nd day, after I did my mods. I left them on while I was ripping the dash apart, etc to make sure I didn't damage anything. I'm enjoying the car now. B)

Every car should be so lucky!

Look at the times next to Frankenstein. I have both stickers and they are 1 second apart. My guess, that is when the labels were printed. Someone who knows should write a book with all this silly little stuff so 20 years from now during the first restoration we'll know what it all means.

I believe Frankenstein is ERL's husband.

So... ERL is Bride of Frankenstein. Or is that Frahn-ken-shteen?
Anyway, congrats on getting your "manufactured" car. ICAP is awesome. I wonder if when they are done creating the seats if they shout "it's alive. It's ALIVE!" Maybe they save that for when the car is done.
Well, go drive that monster. :drive:
