The Count Down To 100,000 Begins

The Count Down To 100,000 Miles Begins. I purchased my GOGT On June 21st 2006 with 3.2 miles on the odometer and on January 1st 2009 I hit 99,000 miles. I think that by January 15th I should hit the magical mark. I do wonder if a 7th digit will appear or if the decimal point will disappear on the odometer or if it just resets to 000000.0, lol. I do plan to write Ford a letter letting then know of this milestone, hopefully they might care. As to the Mileage breakdown on the car. The Ex drove it about 2 miles, my daughter drove it about 1 mile and my Girlfriend Pam has driven it about 10 miles. I have drove her all the rest!!!!! **** they have been some GREAT miles.

I'll keep you updated

Laters, Dale

I just hit 63K - picked mine up in Dec 04.....did miss 7 months while deployed to Iraq though. The wife put 18 miles on it during those 7 months.

Congrats on 100K. Other than oil changes - anything else go bad on you during those 100K miles?

No Issues. The Pirellies lasted 75,000, Could have gotten more out of the fronts. I replaced the Brakes at 80,00 to put slotted & drilled rotors and ceramic pads. There are some minor cosmetic issues but oh well. I change the oil every 5,000 with Mobile1 synthetic.

Wow and I thought I drove a lot! I got mine in Aug of 07 and I just hit 30K. Have you had any major issues yet?

BTW I read somewhere the decimal disappears at 100K

If you drive between 52-55 miles per hour solid on a tank of gas I've seen it say 31.9 miles per gallon as far as 176 miles into a tank of gas. Not kidding. Then, a stoplight came, then a hill and then an itchy trigger foot.
