As explained in a different thread, I am in Europe now for another couple of weeks and found out my pony might be coming fairly soon. I managed to get the following information on my car. However, I don't think the DORA (order number) is correct:
DORA- 2010
Dealer Code- 48D046
Priority- 10
Model- T82
If someone could call the ERL and post what they find out I would appreciatte it. Thanks in advance!

Update: I emailed my salesman (whom I trust a lot as my family has purchased many cars from him) about the order number and he said that it is correct (2010). I can't get a phone card with enough time on it here to talk to a rep at the ERL number but when I go through the automated system it keeps telling me that there is "no information on that order number". Please help! I am getting both excited and desperate. Thanks.

Oh fudge! After reading a little more I realized that I must have misread something. I put in T85 as model (gt convert) but I am getting the coupe. I am a dumbhiney. Going to go buy another darn phone card and try again.

I called with the info you provided and got the same as you "No status information available".
That doesn't sound good, unless export vehicles are in another database but I would not think so.
Are you sure about the dealer code? I removed the letter and used 48046.
It's a GT vert right?
You may want to try "Kzinti" on blue oval network I think (do a search on this name).

I know you're anxious to get you car but remember it may take a few mths... and don't get discouraged if it does. Hopefully the 06s will come out a lot faster than many of the 05s and you'll have her soon!!!

bump.....curious if anyone knows if "production hold b/c of materials" means that the car is scheduled to be built within the next couple of weeks or if it doesn't mean anything at all.

i have already checked it and got the "production on hold because of materials" response. that is why i asked if that meant i had a build date or not since it was my first time checking and i don't know what that means.

I have a feeling only your dealer is going to be able to get the details on your 'hold" but you could try Ford Customer Service.
You could also try a PM to Ed (ISELLFORD) to see if he could help out.

UPDATE:
Thanks to ISELLFORD I found out what the problem was. As stated in prior posts, I have been in Europe for the past month and a half and ordered my car the day before I left (6/29). Well, turns out my dealer didn't know exactly what the fanblades were and when he saw two 18" wheel options he just took a guess. Guess what? He picked the Bullits. That's why there was a "production hold" on my car. Thankfully ISELLFORD checked it out and relayed the info to me. I promply called my salesman and he made the change saying "yeah, I wasn't sure which wheel was which." Would've thought that he would've called and asked. Anyways, could've probably had my car here within the next couple weeks if it weren't for that but at least the problem was figured out. Thanks again ISELLFORD!
This is one of the larger dealerships in SE Michigan (so I'm guessing a larger allocation);any guesses on an ETA?
