Mine went out by convoy on 4/25 to Toledo, Ohio, then from there it left by rail Thursday 4/28 to OKC.

Mine started out the same way. I was concerned that it would be on a truck all the way to California. Several days later, it changed over to rail carrier. If that happens, you can track the rail car...much easier than tracking a truck!

Mine travelled all the way from the factory to San Diego via Convoy Carrier. Never touched a train. It took a while, but was fine when it got here. Also, I got that information from Ford Customer Service (checking their system) and the Dealer (checking their system). It also reflects that as the travel method on the sticker.

well usually I believe transit to be shipped convoy carrier, then gets on a rail car, ships, then gets put back on convoy carrier to dealer from ramp. So it will actually be on a truck twice, at least thats the way mine went.

Also check a search using "railcar"...there's a toll-free number out there too.
Get the railcar number from your dealer.
